Computer Support Specialist
Full-Time Teller-Billings, MT
Be part of a friendly, member-service oriented team, working 20-30 hours per week for part-time and 35-40 for full-time. Accurate computer, typing and 10-key/ calculator skills required. The qualified applicant will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and professional appearance. Front-line customer service/ sales skills a must.
Teller Duties include:
Build and maintain relationships with members by providing excellent member service through accurate transactions, answering member's questions and recommending services to benefit them.
Assist members with their financial transaction needs in an accurate and timely manner including, but not limited to, cashing checks, making deposits, withdrawals and loan payments, issuing credit union checks, redeeming US Savings Bonds, selling and closing safe deposit boxes, Visa cash advances and closing accounts under $200.
Position requires long periods of standing and some heavy lifting of coin bags/cash drawers.
Minimum starting wage is $10 per hour, plus great benefits.

Computer Support Specialist
Provides support services to the Credit Union staff as well as installing/repairing data lines and equipment, and performs processing functions.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Valley's computer system, in order to provide support and solutions to staff.
Review work orders to move, change, install, repair, or remove data communications equipment, such as modems, switches and peripheral equipment (PCs and printers). Read technical manuals to learn correct settings for equipment.
Measure, cut and install wire and cables. Connect computer or terminal to data communication lines.
Plan layout and installation of data communications equipment. Install and test necessary software and hardware. Demonstrate use of equipment.
Install updates to the Portico Core System and maintain system parameters, as appropriate.
Create special reports, as needed.
Assist in maintaining system documentation, ensuring that manuals always contain the most current information.
Provide support to users of the Portico Core System and other third party software. Respond to questions, suggestions and concerns.
Maintain backup of system equipment, ensuring that backups are properly performed and stored properly to preserve data integrity.
Perform basic maintenance of system equipment, including cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness of computer room.
Share on-call, as needed, for after hour system maintenance.
Perform daily, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processing, as assigned.
Participate in team meetings, providing input and suggestions.
Keep informed of emerging and existing technologies as they apply to Credit Union operations and growth. Research and propose changes, updates and new systems that will increase efficiency and effectiveness of network users.
Any other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or certification; and six months to one year related experience and/or training in data processing and providing software and hardware support, including installation, troubleshooting and hardware maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft products, including Microsoft Office Suite, Exchange 2010, SQL, Adobe Contribute and VMware.
• Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, Windows 7
• Cisco Routers, Juniper Firewalls, VPN, Dell and Cisco Switches
• Maintaining/troubleshooting software/hardware on individual workstations and servers
• Working knowledge of Fiserv Portico Software
