Be part of a friendly, member-service oriented team, working 20-30 hours per week for part-time and 35-40 for full-time. Accurate computer, typing and 10-key/ calculator skills required. The qualified applicant will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and professional appearance. Front-line customer service/ sales skills a must.
Teller Duties include:
Build and maintain relationships with members by providing excellent member service through accurate transactions, answering member's questions and recommending services to benefit them.
Assist members with their financial transaction needs in an accurate and timely manner including, but not limited to, cashing checks, making deposits, withdrawals and loan payments, issuing credit union checks, redeeming US Savings Bonds, selling and closing safe deposit boxes, Visa cash advances and closing accounts under $200.
Position requires long periods of standing and some heavy lifting of coin bags/cash drawers.
Minimum starting wage is $11.00 per hour, plus great benefits.

Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and participate in credit union incentive programs.
Sell multiple financial products and services to new and existing members by analyzing and assessing member needs through listening and asking questions to determine which services can best satisfy those needs. This would include but are not limited to: Checking, Savings, Share Certificates, Stash Accounts, Christmas Accounts, Money Markets, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Safe Deposit Boxes, All Loan Products, Valley Privilege, various Loan Protection Products and IRA's.
Retain and continue to develop member relationships by providing a consistent quality level of service that is timely, through and responsive to all members.
Take ownership of problems until they are resolved to the member's satisfaction, including making the determination as to when it is necessary to involve the manager or other resources.
Assist members with additional duties: Debit cards, stop payments, wire transfers, account research and balancing, closing accounts, certificates, and IRA accounts. Stay current on changes in IRA's and assist with reporting duties.
